Courses are led by PAI Master Trainer Ping Yang and are ITTAP approved by the Pilates Method Alliance (PMA). Anatomy, Biomechanics and Cueing for Posture, Form and Alignment. An essential resource for any movement professional. Open to all personal trainers, this invaluable course will help you provide lasting results for your clients and increase your marketability. Prerequisite for the Mat, Reformer and apparatus modules.

Mat Pilates Teacher Training

Foundations of classical and contemporary Mat Pilates, built on top of ABC. Anatomy, sequencing, cueing, observation. Graduates certified to teach Mat classes internationally.

The full PAI curriculum.

Ten individual courses make up the PAI repertoire. Take them as standalone modules, or stack them toward full NPCP certification. Each course is run as a small cohort with a written exam, practical exam, and supervised practicum hours at the studio.

  • ABC

    Anatomy, Biomechanics & Cueing for Posture, Form & Alignment

    An essential resource for any movement professional. Open to all personal trainers, this invaluable course will help you provide lasting results for your clients and increase your marketability. Foundational prerequisite for every other PAI module.

  • MAT I

    All Populations Mat I

    What makes great buildings? Great foundations. The first three tiers of the Mat repertoire taught with modifications for all ages and ability levels.

    Prerequisite: ABC

  • MAT II

    All Populations Mat II

    Advanced tier completion. Required for full NPCP certification — moves from foundational to professional teaching capability.

    Prerequisite: ABC, Mat I

  • RFM I

    All Populations Reformer I

    Covers the first three tiers (Fundamental through Intermediate) with focus on reformer physics, spring tension, and safe progression.

    Prerequisite: ABC

  • RFM II

    All Populations Reformer II

    Advanced material, customized for all ages and fitness levels. Progression frameworks and cueing for mixed-ability rooms.

    Prerequisite: ABC, Reformer I

  • CAD I

    All Populations Cadillac I

    Fundamental Cadillac exercises emphasizing isolated joint movement and assisted spring work.

    Prerequisite: ABC, Mat I & Reformer I

  • CAD II

    All Populations Cadillac II

    Final two tiers with progression benchmarks for advanced Cadillac repertoire.

    Prerequisite: ABC, Mat I, Reformer I, Cadillac I

  • CHR I

    All Populations Chair I

    First three tiers of Chair exercises — strength, balance, and asymmetric loading.

    Prerequisite: ABC, Mat I & Reformer I

  • CHR II

    All Populations Chair II

    Advanced Chair material building on Chair I fundamentals.

    Prerequisite: ABC, Mat I, Reformer I, Chair I

  • BAR I

    All Populations Barrels I

    Three tiers on the spine corrector and ladder barrel — core, mobility, posture.

    Prerequisite: ABC, Mat I & Reformer I

  • BAR II

    All Populations Barrels II

    Advanced Barrels material — deeper spine work, articulation, and progressions on the spine corrector and ladder barrel.

    Prerequisite: ABC, Mat I, Reformer I, Barrels I
